Finance Ministry Launches Electronic Payment for Fees and Taxes
The Finance Ministry in Lebanon announced the activation of modern payment methods for collecting fees and taxes, including bank credit cards and online payments through its official website.
The move is part of an administrative modernization plan aimed at facilitating financial procedures for citizens and businesses.
The Finance Ministry confirmed that fee collection services are now available at its treasury offices and selected ministries, while maintaining the option of checks issued to the Central Treasury Fund cashier.
Expanding Payment Options
According to the Finance Ministry, the introduction of electronic payment services is designed to streamline financial transactions between taxpayers and public administrations.
Citizens can complete their payments online via the official portal at www.finance.gov.lb.
This initiative aligns with Lebanon’s broader digital transformation efforts within the public sector, enhancing transparency and improving the efficiency of tax collection processes.
